Huawei P40 Lite, What's New
Huawei P40 Lite is the affordable variant of standard Huawei P40. The cheaper version gets a bigger screen, downgraded chipset and camera, while longer life battery. P40 Lite has a 6.4-inch LCD Display and it delivers Full HD content. The device used to craft plastic, protected by glass front and weighs in at 183 grams.
P40 Lite runs EMUI 10 on top of Android 10 (open source). It is the cheapest Huawei smartphone to join the new HMS core (Huawei Mobile Services), as an alternative to GMS core (Google Mobile Services). HMS ecosystem contains Account Kit (similar to Gmail for Play Store), Location Kit (instead of Google Maps), Drive Kit, Game Service, Push Kit, Analytic Kit, In-App purchases, and at last Ads Kit - an alternate to the Google Admob.
Huawei P40 Lite sports a Quad Rear Camera setup including a 48MP sensor. It is an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, thus you can capture bright photos in low-light conditions. The other cameras are as follows, 8MP ultrawide having a 120-degree field of view, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. P40 Lite is eligible for FHD video recording. On the front, there is a 16MP (f/2.0) wide selfie camera, HDR supported.
